  4. If they don’t have a cooking guide for your type of fish, ask for one.
  5. Give the store staff a copy of this guide, if they request it, and thank them for their help! ..

When you bring your pet fish back to Petco, you will be given a return tag and a refund. Will Petco accept Unhealthy Fishes if returned?

In most cases, Petco will not accept unhealthy fish. There are some exemptions to this rule, which is planned to protect the remaining fish. To begin, Petco guarantees fish purchased through its website for 7 days. Contact Petco customer service for a refund or exchange if the fish becomes ill and dies within 7 days of delivery.

This policy does not apply to fish that are purchased from Petco Pet Care Stores. If the fish becomes critically ill or appears unhealthy, you have 30 days to return it for a refund or exchange. If it has been more than 30 days, Petco will not issue a refund but may accept the return but may accept the return depending on store availability.
